We are pleased to announce the introduction of a series of new artificial plant arrangements—each incorporating lifelike and/or natural materials—at the fall High Point Market trade show in High Point, North Carolina, October 13-17, 2018. D&W Silks maintains a showroom at High Point Market in the IHFC Building in space D302—a focal point of which is our boxwood hedge screens that were stationed on the red carpet at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The artificial plants used in the new arrangements feature many of today’s most popular decorating staples, including succulents, fiddle leaf figs and maidenhair ferns. “We have sourced the highest quality materials to replicate these plants and hand-assembled them using organic elements, like rocks, mosses and driftwood,” said D&W Silks president Chris Deeley. “We are proud of our workmanship and attention to detail, which translates into sturdy, on-trend designs, featuring plants that are nearly impossible to distinguish from the real thing.”

Succulents are “having a renaissance, and have become a decorating staple in boutiques, restaurants, offices and apartments,” wrote Patrick Sisson in an April 2018 CURBED.com article entitled, “Why cactuses and succulents are the perfect plants for this cultural moment.” What’s more, The New York Times declared the fiddle-leaf fig is the “It” plant for decorators today.

Among the new designs D&W Silks will introduce at the fall 2018 High Point Market are:

Maidenhair fern in small white bowl
with metal stand (34”h x 27”w)
Zamifolia plant in white fiberglass planter
with oak wood stand (48”h x 24”w)
Fiddle leaf fig in square metal
cage stand planter (60”h x 26”w)
Mother-in-law tongue in round
wooden planter with stand (35”h x 19”w)

D&W Silks will announce at the fall High Point Market special pricing on many of its products. The company provides lunch to Market attendees from noon to 1:00 pm EST from October 13 to 15, and hosts a cocktail gathering each afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 pm EST.
